The 91ÑÇÉ« community is invited to attend an information session on Jan. 29 for a free photography workshop series hosted by B.D. Colen, . The information session will provide an overview of what to expect in the workshop series and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

The workshop is geared towards science researchers – students and faculty members alike – but everyone is welcome to register.

Colen is an experienced photographer, science communicator, and instructor. Between his years as a reporter, editor and columnist for the Washington PostÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýNewsday, and his years in academic and corporate public affairs, Colen has 40 years of experience in science and medical communications. He taught science feature writing, news writing and documentary photography for 19 years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The information session will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., in 306 Lumbers Building.
