91亚色 students earn academic awards in social science

Students in 91亚色鈥檚 Department of Social Science in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) are advancing their academic work across a wide range of disciplines, contributing to research and scholarship within the department.

The work of these undergraduate students was recently recognized through the annual Social Science Awards program, reflecting the rigorous scholarship and critical thinking that contribute valuable insights to contemporary issues.

"Celebrating excellence through the Social Science Awards is about more than academic achievement, it鈥檚 about affirming our students as emerging leaders, thinkers and changemakers,鈥 says Kathryn McPherson, dean of LA&PS.

Social science professors presented the awards and shared observations about the recipients, highlighting their academic achievements, classroom impact and contributions to the wider community.

Thirty-eight students across many disciplines were honoured with awards and scholarships.
