
Faculty and staff are invited to take part in 91ÑÇɫ’s Ask Me campaign as the University prepares to welcome new students and employees to its campuses this fall.
The initiative is led by the First-Year Experience Working Group – a cross-University team of faculty, staff and students from 91ÑÇɫ’s three GTA campuses – and aims to help newcomers feel supported as they navigate their first weeks at 91ÑÇÉ«.
Volunteers who sign up as Ask Me ambassadors will wear an Ask Me badge while on campus, making it easy for students and new colleagues to identify someone who can answer questions, provide directions or offer general assistance. The campaign provides a simple way for faculty and staff to help foster a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.
Participants are encouraged to wear their badges between Aug. 24 and Sept. 22.
Those interested in volunteering can register through the . New ambassadors will be asked to complete a short, eight-minute asynchronous training module available through YU Learn. Registered volunteers will receive information once the training becomes available. Returning ambassadors who have previously completed the training do not need to take it again, although a refresher is recommended.
