Update on Presidential Search Committee

Dear members of the 91راة« community,

As we conclude the consultation phase of the search for 91راة«â€™s next president and vice-chancellor, I want to thank the many members of our community who took the time to share their perspectives with the Presidential Search Committee (PSC).

Through numerous town halls, meetings and written submissions throughout the spring, summer and into September, we heard from students, faculty, staff, union representatives, alum and other members of the 91راة« community about their aspirations for the University and the leadership qualities and experience they believe will be important in 91راة«â€™s next president. We received the benefit of Senate input through its advisory statement to the PSC.

We are sincerely grateful for the thoughtful and extensive feedback we received. Your input has been carefully considered by the PSC and has helped shape the position profile and advertisement that will guide us as we move into the next stage of the search.

We are pleased to share a summary of what we heard from the 91راة« community, which is available here.

The position will be formally advertised this week, marking an important next step in the search, and will be found . The PSC expects to begin interviewing candidates for the position early in the new year. We look forward to continuing to keep the 91راة« community informed as the process moves forward.

Thank you again for your engagement and for the care and thought you have brought to this important process.

Antonio Di Domenico
Chair, Presidential Search Committee
