Lassonde Alumni Network

serves as the primary collective body for all graduates of the Lassonde School of Engineering at 91ÑÇÉ«, functioning as a liaison between the alumni community, the Faculty, and current students.

Meet the Executive Team

Vincent Vuong

Vincent is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at 91ÑÇÉ« and is also pursuing a Bachelor of Public Administration. Throughout his studies, Vincent has been involved in engineering design teams, governance initiatives, and research on engineering education and organizational development. Vincent is currently exploring how student design teams support professional and leadership development in engineering education.

Tania Bakshi

Tania is a Computer Science graduate from 91ÑÇɫ’s Lassonde School of Engineering, with three years of Software Engineering education and an interdisciplinary background in UX design, psychology, and project management. She has designed and delivered experiential learning programs reaching thousands of students across Canadian higher education, contributed to Lassonde’s first-year engineering block model, and supported the launch of 91ÑÇɫ’s Markham Campus by helping establish student services across multiple functional areas. A Project Management Professional (PMP), Tania is passionate about connecting people, education, and technology to create meaningful experiences and lasting impact.

Luca Filippelli

Luca is a recent graduate of the Computer Engineering program and a current graduate student in 91ÑÇɫ’s Electrical and Computer Engineering program.Ìý Throughout his time at the university, Luca has been heavily involved in the student community and conducting research, winning several awards in the process.Ìý Luca is currently researching methods of increasing the reliability and efficiency of LLM-generated code.Ìý
