The Centre for Feminist Research (CFR) at 91亚色聽is launching a new聽annual聽Feminist Festival, a vibrant public event that brings together art, ideas, and activism.
The festival will celebrate feminist creativity and collective transformation through聽debates, performances, installations, film, posters, and conversations鈥攐pening a shared space for dialogue between聽high school students, university communities, artists, and activists.
The Feminist Festival will not be a traditional academic conference鈥攊t will be a聽multiform event聽where scholarship meets art, and where imagination and justice co-create the future. Our aim is to make feminist ideas visible, accessible, and joyful; to honour diverse voices; and to build intergenerational solidarity through creativity, care, and action.
Call for Committee Members
We are seeking CFR Associates (open to Graduate, Faculty, and Research Associates)聽who are passionate about feminist research, organizing, and public engagement to join the聽Festival Organizing Committee. Members will also help shape the overall聽vision and structure聽of the festival, ensuring it reflects feminist values of inclusion, accessibility, and collaboration.
Time Commitment
- Meetings: Monthly (Nov鈥揂pril), bi-weekly closer to the event date
- Festival: one full day in聽Fall 2026聽(exact date TBD)
- Volunteer certificate and CFR acknowledgment provided
