CIFAL 91ÑÇÉ« serves as a specialized hub within UNITAR’s global network, dedicated to knowledge exchange and capacity building across sectors including government, academia, and civil society. Established as a partnership between UNITAR, 91ÑÇÉ«, and 91ÑÇÉ« Region, the center focuses on critical areas such as disaster risk reduction, technological innovation, and the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. By becoming an Affiliate, members gain the opportunity to contribute to a global community committed to sustainability and equity. Affiliates benefit from increased visibility, as their expertise and research interests are highlighted through the CIFAL 91ÑÇÉ« platform, fostering collaborative training and research opportunities that drive positive social and environmental change.

Membership Benefits and Opportunities
Membership provides access to:

General Membership Responsibilities
All members are expected to:
- Actively contribute to CIFAL 91ÑÇɫ’s programs and initiatives.
- Engage in knowledge exchange, capacity building, and collaborative research.
- Promote CIFAL 91ÑÇɫ’s mission and thematic focus areas.
- Submit a report every two years highlighting contributions and achievements.
Application Process
If you would like to apply to be a CIFAL 91ÑÇÉ« Affiliate Member, please review the complete Membership Guidelines. If you meet the qualifications for any of our membership categories, please complete this form to be considered for a position as a CIFAL 91ÑÇÉ« Affiliate Member. Membership is determined by the Directors who approve applications for membership.
