Associate Professor Sue Winton delivered a talk on privatization and public education at the Faculty’s Public Lecture event on November 8, 2022 - Winton, a critical policy scholar and and co-director of the World Educational Research Association’s International Research Network on Families, Educators, and Communities as Educational Advocates, discussed how policies, such as fundraising, fees and specialized schools and programs among others, enable some kids to accumulate more advantages from public education than other children.

Assistant Professor Vidya Shah, Nada Aoudeh (PhD candidate, 91��ɫ U Faculty of Eduation), Gisele Cuglievan-Mindreau (OISE/UT) and Joseph Flessa (OISE/UT) have co-authored an article titled “Tempering Applied Critical Leadership: The Im/Possibilities of Leading for Racial Justice in School Districts in Educational Administration Quarterly.
