High-Quality Student Experience
The program is designed to put students on the path to academic and professional success. Students share the classroom with other highly motivated peers and have the opportunity to build a vibrant learning community. Full-time and part-time professors, all recognized for their teaching excellence, use the case method in every course. Students learn a professional decision-making framework in their first course and apply it at a higher level in each course that follows, preparing them for Parts 1 and 2 of the CPA Professional Final Examinations (PFEs) and developing the competencies required of a professional accountant. Class sizes are capped at 25 students, which means students benefit from individual attention and continuous feedback in each course. Outside the classroom, workshops and networking events help students further prepare for their professional careers.
Flexible and Accessible Schedule
Recognizing that our students鈥 needs vary considerably, the program can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time students complete all 18 credits in a single term. Given the intensive nature of the courses, students who choose the full-time option will not be able to work. Part-time students complete the program over two terms and may take a break of up to two terms between them, for example during busy season. The program must be completed within 1.5 years. To accommodate students鈥 schedules, part-time courses are offered on weekday evenings and weekends.
