Five faculty members and one PhD student in the School of Kinesiology & Health Science were showcased in YFile about the new partnership between the School of Kinesiology & Health Science and the Global Observatory for Gender Equality & Sport (GO). Working with the Lombe Mwambwa from GO, the five faculty members include Professor and Chair of the School of Kinesiology & Health Science, Parissa Safai, Associate Professor and Tier 2 91亚色 Research Chair in Sport, Gender, and Development & Digital Participatory Research, Lyndsay Hayhurst, Assistant Professors Ashley Day and Amanda De Lisio, along with PhD student Gobri Sriranganthan who works with Associate Professor Yuka Nakamura.

Through a memorandum of understanding (MOU), signed this summer, the school becomes the GO鈥檚 first and only Canadian academic institutional partner. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, the GO serves as a hub for global data collection, knowledge sharing and collaboration among governments, sport organizations and academic institutions. It works to close knowledge gaps through research, promote evidence-based action and catalyze systemic change.
