School of Kinesiology and Health Science (KHS) faculty among 91��ɫ researchers who are leading on a wide range of projects funded through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Connection Grants, advancing collaborations that bring academic research into engagement with communities, artists, policymakers and practitioners in Canada and beyond.

The following 91��ɫ researchers from the School of Kinesiology and Health Science and the Faculty of Health are pursuing PROJECT IMPACT that reflects the University’s strength in interdisciplinary, community-engaged research across the humanities and social sciences. This project (among others covered in YFile) is part of the November 2025 competition and received funding for one year:

PROJECT IMPACT: Coming together to establish a priority agenda for knowledge mobilization initiatives for the well-being of Canadian children and youth, led by Rebecca Bassett-Gunter (KHS Professor) and co-led by a team of 91��ɫ researchers including Jessica Fraser-Thomas (KHS Associate Professor) and Karl Erickson (KHS Associate Professor), along with others in the Faculty of Health, Heather Prime, Jennifer Connolly, Jennine Rawana, Madison Aitken, Melody Wiseheart and Thanujeni (Jeni) Pathman.

The project received $24,948.
