Gain focused learning in the psychology of aging. As people live on average three decades longer than they did a century ago, opportunities to understand and support healthy aging are expanding.

The concentration takes a ‘brain-to-society’ approach, exploring the personal, professional, and policy challenges and opportunities of this demographic shift. You will study the cognitive, psychological, and social aspects of aging, gaining the skills needed for careers or graduate studies in areas such as advocacy for older adults, lifelong learning program development, caregiver support resources, and designing interventions to help older adults live healthier, longer.
