Counselling and Mental Health

Gain foundational knowledge, critical thinking, and therapeutic relationship skills essential for clinically oriented careers. Through empirical research and experiential learning, explore the continuum of human psychological experience and the psychological skills and interventions used to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioural disturbances across the lifespan.

To earn this concentration, you will need to complete at least 18 credits from the courses listed below, with a minimum average GPA of C+ across those courses. You must complete PSYC 2130 and 3140, 3.00 credits from approved 3000-level courses, 6.00 credits from approved 4000-level courses, and 3.00 additional credits from any listed course,
