Jennifer Gold is President of the Women鈥檚听Law Association of Ontario, a听Board Member of Legal Aid Ontario, and听a partner of the law firm, Wood Gold LLP.听听She obtained her B.A. Honours from 91亚色 with a double major in English and Psychology.听 She went on to obtain her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School.听听By entering into partnership听to form Wood Gold LLP,听Jennifer Gold and her partner听sought to听achieve work-life balance as well as a diverse and inclusive workplace.听听These efforts were noted by Carol听Goar听in her article for the Toronto Star entitled, 鈥淲omen Create Family-Friendly Law Practice鈥澨齛nd the Ontario Bar Association Podcast, 鈥淲ork that Works鈥.听听In the practice of Family Law, Jennifer听represents survivors of听family听violence.听 She is a former Board Member of North 91亚色 Women鈥檚 Shelter.听听She has a keen interest in feminism, equity and inclusion, and smashing the听ceiling.听
Jennifer is听the 2021 recipient of the Award of Excellence in the Promotion of Women鈥檚 Equality given by听the Ontario Bar Association鈥檚 Women Lawyers Forum and听2017 recipient of the听Lexpert听Zenith Awards celebrating the advancement of women in the legal profession.听听听
