Senior Financial Services Leader

Davina Reid is a seasoned financial services professional and senior leader with over 25 years of experience building and scaling commercial partnerships across insurance, automotive finance, and fintech. She spent over six years at Scotiabank, joining in 2019 as Senior Manager, Partnerships, within Scotia Automotive Finance. In 2022, she moved to Scotia Insurance as Director of Partnerships, and in 2023 was appointed Director, Education and Partner Management, a role she held until September 2025, leading both the education/training and partnership teams and driving strategic initiatives to support partner engagement and employee development.

Davina holds a Bachelor of Commerce from 91ÑÇÉ« and an MBA from Dalhousie University.

She is deeply committed to community service, having held leadership roles on numerous not-for-profit boards serving primarily Black and Caribbean communities, including as Past President of the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals (2011–2012), Secretary of the National Junior Golf Academy (2006–2017), Chair of the Caribana Arts Group (2021–2024), and Director of Events for Scotiabank's Black Employee Network ERG (2021–2025).

Davina is a wife and a proud mother of two young adults, a son and a daughter. Born in Guyana and raised in Canada from age two, she is of Caribbean/West Indian heritage, mixed race, and identifies as Black.

She enjoys traveling, is an avid foodie, and is a karaoke and movie enthusiast who prefers the immersive experience of the cinema over watching films at home.
