Sandra Califaretti is CPSO’s corporate controller, leading the College’s Finance department. She is a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional meeting the internal control, accounting, auditing, financial management, and financial advice needs of individuals and public and private sector organizations for over 30 years.

Obtaining her CA designation in 1991, Sandra spent several years auditing medium- to large-sized private and public clients, recommending significant improvements in controls over financial reporting. During her time in municipal government, she championed a number of transformation initiatives in human resource operations, payroll administration, service impact budgeting, and financial reporting.

Sandra is also passionate about sustainability, collaborating with other public sector colleagues to implement climate-related disclosures in the annual financial report and inform sustainability standard and guidelines.
