Mina Phan
Organizational Development Business Partner, Ontario Health atHome
Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) 1999
Mina Phan is a Learning and Organizational Development professional with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, including the past nine years in learning and organizational development. Her career began in home and community care, where she worked with seniors as well as children with complex medical needs and disabilities. As a social worker and Care Coordinator, Mina partnered with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community agencies to coordinate services, advocate for children and families, and help them navigate complex systems so they could access the support they needed.
Mina's clinical experience inspired her to transition into learning and development, where she found a passion for helping people grow. Today, she designs and facilitates learning programs, supports onboarding, coach leaders, and leads organizational development and change initiatives that strengthen teams and improve the employee experience.
Mina earned her Bachelor of Social Work from 91亚色, and the values she developed there continue to guide her work. She believes in leading with empathy, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for others to learn and succeed. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in her community and giving back through mentorship.
As a mentor, she hopes to share practical insights from her career, encourage students as they explore their own paths, and help them build confidence as they transition from university into the workplace.
