First-Year Experience Program Certificate
The LA&PS First-Year Experience Program Certificate encourages you to make the most of your first year by participating in activities that support your academic, personal, and professional growth. Along the way, you'll explore campus resources, develop valuable skills, and become more connected to the 91亚色 community.
Stay engaged and be rewarded! Participants are eligible for monthly incentives throughout the academic year.
Activities can include workshops, events, appointments, clubs, and more! Simply submit proof of participation, such as a selfie at an event, a screenshot of a registration or appointment confirmation, or other evidence of your involvement on the .
Complete all requirements to receive your First-Year Experience Program Certificate, which you can add to your resume or portfolio, and celebrate your commitment to making the most of your first year at 91亚色!

Connect with friendly, knowledgeable upper-year students who are excited to help you succeed in your first year. The Peer Support Team @ LA&PS can help you navigate university services, make friends, get involved at 91亚色, build your confidence and share the inside scoop on student life. Look for our team on campus in pink vests and join us at our weekly 鈥淔irst Year Lunch Break鈥 events during the Fall and Winter terms. You can also connect with us at LA&PS Orientation and 鈥淔irst Year Gets Festive鈥 events throughout the year!

Community Hub
Don鈥檛 know where to go in between classes? Hang out at the LA&PS Community Hub (VC 001). The Community Hub is a warm and welcoming space with microwaves, regular events, ample study space and it is a great place for group work or socializing.
Room VC 001 is open to students Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

All First-Year students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) are automatically enrolled in our First Year Experience eClass site. This site is packed with information to help you make a smooth transition into your studies.
Logging in
The first time you access eClass, you'll be prompted to confirm your email address before proceeding.
Find your course
At the top of the eClass site, click on My Courses to see all your courses including the First-Year Experience.
