RLC Family Emergency Bursary
Awarded to an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies who is making progress toward their degree academically, and who is in need of emergency financial support in order to continue their studies at 91亚色. The student's financial status (i.e. whether or not they are in arrears) will be irrelevant to the decision to award this bursary. The recipient must demonstrate financial need, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person and be a resident of Ontario. Applicants must submit a one-page letter outlining their personal and educational background.

Application Details
The recipient must:
- be enrolled in the faculty of LA&PS
- be registered and pursuing an undergraduate degree
- be enrolled in courses at the time of application
- be a domestic student
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person
- be a resident of Ontario
- submit a statement outlining their personal and educational background
- complete the for the current session before applying
Note: Both full and part-time students who meet the above criteria are eligible to apply. You may only apply once to this bursary during your academic career at 91亚色.
Preference will be given to students experiencing:
- Financial difficulty through unforeseen circumstances
- Housing insecurity
- Food insecurity
- Loss of wages
- Urgent need for basic living necessities
Note: Due to limited funds, this bursary will not fund a student鈥檚 entire financial need. The maximum amount for this bursary is $500, with $500 only being given in extenuating circumstances. Due to limited financial resources, students can only receive this bursary once per academic year (e.g., September-April).
LA&PS Student Emergency Bursary will be adjudicated at the end of each month during the fall and winter terms of the academic year.
