Dr. Kristine Alexander, who earned her聽PhD in the Graduate History Program in November 2010, has won the聽Governor General's Gold Medal in Graduate Studies at 91亚色! Dr.聽Alexander's dissertation, entitled "The Girl Guide movement,聽Imperialism and Internationalism in Interwar England, Canada and聽India," was supervised by Professor Bettina Bradbury. Currently聽holding as SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Western聽Ontario, Dr. Alexander is continuing her research on children, this聽time in World War I. She excelled at every level of her education,聽winning a long list of prizes along the way and is richly deserving of聽this honour. Congratulations Kristine!
