Professor Michael Gilbert, also known as Miqqi Alicia, is a life-long cross-dresser and he spoke to the Art Gallery of Ontario about Casa Susanna, a safe haven and resort for cross-dressers in upstate New 91ÑÇÉ« during the '50s and '60s — snapshots of which are on display in "Outsiders: American Photography and Film, 1950s–1980s", an exhibition at the AGO until May 31, 2016.
