Prof. Marin Litoiu inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering

Marin Litoiu, Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science within the Lassonde School of Engineering and the School of Information Technology within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (LA&PS) at 91��ɫ, has been inducted as a .

The Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) works in close cooperation with other senior academies in Canada and internationally. It is a founding member of the Council of Canadian Academies, along with the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS). Newly elected Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Engineering were inducted virtually on June 14, during the Academy’s 2021 Annual General Meeting. Academy fellows are recognized by the CAE as individuals who “have made substantial contributions that surpass in depth and breadth what would normally be considered a successful career in the field of the candidate.”

This also helps my students to see diverse points of view and approaches in solving a problem.
