SAS Professor Leblanc weighs in on the importance of term limits for school board trustees

School of Administrative Studies Professor Richard Leblanc was featured in a Hamilton Spectator article titled, “‘”. The article discusses how there is new competition against long-serving school board trustees in an upcoming municipal election.

“There are institutional advantages to long-serving trustees, such as institutional memory, but there is evidence that beyond 10 years leads to less independence and less innovativeness,” Leblanc said, in the article.
