Jack Rozdilsky, associate professor of Disaster & Emergency Management in the School of Administrative Studies, was interviewed on CBC鈥檚 Here and Now show to discuss the new Rogers Stadium venue in Toronto. Visitors to the new stadium have complained about lack of signage, accessibility and transportation options. Rozdilsky encouraged those attending the venue to be aware of their surroundings, saying that spaces where large crowds gather outdoors can present issues such as exposure to the elements and problems with access. He encourages concertgoers to familiarize themselves with the venue in advance to plan an exit strategy and a communication plan that doesn鈥檛 rely on cellphones.
