The YU Explore program is a network of support provided to Undeclared Major (UNMA) Students that fosters the academic and personal growth necessary for future success across all programs. Through the YU Explore Ambassador Program, professional exploration and academic exploration, you will gain the necessary skills and insight to make an informed decision about what major best suits your strengths and passions.
Which type of undeclared major are you?

True Explorer
You have so many interests and options and can鈥檛 choose just one. You want to keep all of your options open and try a few things in your first year. The goal is to explore your options and find the program that鈥檚 right for you, then declare your major at the end of your first year!

Qualifying Year
You have a good idea of what you鈥檇 like to major in but lack the Grade Point Average (GPA) to pursue your program of interest. You may also need to take some prerequisite courses to enter the program. This track means you鈥檒l take a qualifying year, and successful completion of the requirements will allow you entry into your desired program!

YU Explore Peer Support Team
The YU Explore Peer Support Program for UNMA students is open to all UNMA students, who are automatically enrolled and contacted by a Peer Support Leader through email.

UNMA Students Wraparound Services Program
This program works with our UNMA students by learning about their needs and suggesting goals to meet those needs.

Professional Exploration
The YU Explore Program offers a variety of opportunities for UNMA students to explore their professional interests.

Academic Exploration
Learn about programs, events and workshops happening at 91亚色 that will help you explore your academic options.
Have you completed 24 credits? Have you met with the Career Services? Have you met with Academic Advising? Then it seems you are ready to declare your major!
