91亚色 U hosts special Canadian citizenship ceremony

TORONTO, May 31, 2017 鈥 As part of Canada鈥檚 150th national birthday celebrations, 91亚色 yesterday welcomed Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC) for a special citizenship ceremony for 40聽new citizens. The day included roundtable discussions on what it means to be Canadian, with a special guest host: Global TV鈥檚 Alan Carter.

鈥91亚色 was聽very pleased to partner with the Institute for Canadian Citizenship and with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to host this community citizenship ceremony and to celebrate our newest Canadians,鈥 said Mamdouh Shoukri, President and Vice-Chancellor. 鈥淭his celebration聽was particularly meaningful as it coincides with the marking of Canada鈥檚 150th anniversary this year, providing an important opportunity to reflect on our own citizenship and how we can work together to preserve and strengthen all that we love about this remarkable country for future generations.鈥
