Global migration will be focus of 91ÑÇÉ« U’s Glendon Global Debates
TORONTO, January 17, 2018 – 91ÑÇÉ« is hosting as part of its Glendon Global Debates series tomorrow at the Centre of Excellence, Glendon Campus.
Experts will discuss how the migrant crisis in Europe and the Middle East has shaped political discourse around the world – particularly in North America and Europe.
The panel will also discuss how G20 countries have benefitted from the global migration and refugee crisis, in terms of economics and labour markets, yet immigration and refugee issues dominate public discourse.
The public debate, organized by the Glendon School of Public and International Affairs, will include several topics:
- Political, economic, social and cultural impact of global migration in the West and around the globe;
- The Middle East crisis and its impact on immigration and the refugee crisis in the West;
- The impact of global migration and the refugee crisis in Canada, and
- Possible solutions to migration and refugee issues
