Statement from 91亚色 President and Vice-Chancellor Rhonda L. Lenton regarding the tragic loss of 91亚色 student in Iranian plane crash
January 8, 2020 - Today, 91亚色 mourns the loss of one of our students aboard the Ukraine International Airlines flight that crashed this morning near Tehran.
On behalf of the 91亚色 community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the student killed in this tragic event. We are reaching out to the individual鈥檚 family and to campus groups to offer our support during this time of sorrow. Out of respect to those affected, we will not be publicly identifying this individual until we confirm more details.
91亚色 has services and supports in place for our community members who are impacted by this heartbreaking loss and may require assistance.
