Priority Communities

Our transition and orientation events are for everyone.

At 91亚色 we are committed to decolonizing, equity, diversity and inclusion (DEDI). We hold firm to the fundamental belief that everyone should be treated fairly and equitably, with respect and dignity.

We are proud to offer specialized transition and orientation events and resources to help ensure that everyone is seen and welcomed.  

Black Students

 (BE YU) provides Black students with the support they need to transition to university and maximize their student experience on their path to graduation and beyond.

Indigenous Students

We recognize that our  are from all corners of Turtle Island. We strive to create a sense of belonging while supporting the academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of the community.

2SLGBTQIA+ Students

At 91亚色 we value equity, diversity and inclusion. We are proud to celebrate and support 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in their historic and current struggles for equality.

Students with Disabilities

We have a strong community of students within that foster connection and a sense of belonging within the 91亚色 Disability Community. As you move through Student Accessibility Services, upper-year level students are here to support your transition to 91亚色!

Mature Students

Mature students are:

  • at least 20 years old by the end of the calendar year of admission to the University;
  • have have been out of full-time high school studies for at least two years; and
  • have attempted less than one full year of studies at an accredited college or university.

is a program that offers Mature and Transfer students access to Transition Coaches who offer specialized support to help ensure students meet their transitional milestone and successfully navigate to the resources they need on campus.

Transfer Students

We are excited to welcome and support you as you find your fit and . We proudly offer multiple pathways to enhance your studies with further university education.

Your story continues with us. There are a number of  that lead transfer students to 91亚色.

First Generation Students

Our First Generation Student programming provides specialized supports and connections to academic, career, wellness and other services for those students who are the first in their family to attend university.
