聽The Major Collaborative Research Initiative 鈥淕lobal Suburbanisms: Governance, Land and Infrastructure in the 21st Century鈥 (2010-17), based at the City Institute at 91亚色 (CITY), with more than 50 international researchers and 18 partner organizations, is the first project to systematically take stock of suburban development around the world.
Today, they announced the launch of their website available at www.yorku.ca/suburbs, which offers information on their ongoing research, upcoming seminars, workshops or conferences, and 鈥淪uburbanicity鈥 blog. 聽
The project is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada through funding from the Major Collaborative Research Initiative 鈥淕lobal Suburbansims: Governance, Land, and Infrastructure in the 21st Century (2010-2017)鈥.
