Digital Doings Symposium on Feb. 15 will focus on Artificial Intelligence

91亚色 is hosting a symposium focused on Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, eHealth, apps and more. The Digital Doings Symposium will take place Thursday, Feb. 15, from 9:30am to 3:30pm, in Room 519 Kaneff Tower.

The first of its kind, this strongly intradisciplinary symposium offers something of interest to 91亚色 faculty members with an interest in all things digital. Topics include virtual communities, apps, eHealth, chatbots, machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, big data, data mining, digital discourse, humanities questions, bridging between social and computational sciences, as well as questions around labour and ethics.

91亚色 Vice-President Research & Innovation Robert Hach茅 will deliver the symposium keynote at lunch. His presentation is titled, 鈥淎I and Society.鈥

91亚色 Professor Celia Haig-Brown, associate vice-president, Research & Innovation will deliver opening remarks and will serve as the symposium moderator. The day鈥檚 is separated into four distinct themes: (Re)Creating Cultures; Mind/Body/Spirit; Ethics and Policy; and Engaging Digitally. To view a PDF of the full program, click .
