Jillian Fulton-Melanson is a social scientist with a PhD in Social Anthropology from 91亚色. Jillian also has training in sensory anthropology, sound studies, ethnomusicology, education and music performance. Her current research interests are situated within political economy, urban change, night life, and mega-events (particularly FIFA) in Morocco. Her book, Arab Techno for the People: Sonic Responses to Orientalism in Toronto and Montreal, was published in January 2026 on Wilfred Laurier University Press.
