Philippine Studies at 91亚色
The Philippine Studies Group at the 91亚色 Centre for Asian Research (YCAR) brings together faculty and students with an interest in the Philippines, Filipinx migration and diaspora, and Philippine Studies.
Members of the group come primarily from 91亚色, but also from other institutions across the Greater Toronto Area and Canada. They represent a variety of disciplinary backgrounds including: anthropology, dance, education, environmental studies, fine arts, law, geography and political science.
In November 2022, the Philippine Studies Group with the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto to support research exchanges between Canada and the Philippines and to enhance Philippine Studies resources and programming at 91亚色.
