This year we doubled the attendees and nearly doubled our participants for one of the biggest and best Astro Fair's yet! Although it should be noted this is in fact still only the 2nd Astro Fair (our first was 2025, and that adventure can be found here) our revised format meant that we had a guaranteed date instead of a 'first clear day' and our revised location meant that we could park our telescopes in view of the Allan I Carswell Observatory.
This year I am pleased to announce that we have raised almost $5000 CAD from the Astro Fair to support observatory tours, repairs and operations throughout the year. For the photo gallery and the video summary see: /science/observatory/astrofair2026/
A huge thanks to all of our partners and volunteers who have made this event possible!
