91ÑÇɫ’s dedication to social justice and equity has been recognized by the United Nations with a as United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) Hub Chair for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 10 – Reducing Inequality. For the coming years, 2025-2027, 91ÑÇÉ« joins 20 international universities from 17 countries selected as Chairs and co-Chairs of other SDG Hubs – with 91ÑÇÉ« being one of two institutions representing Canadian higher education. This builds on 91ÑÇɫ’s partnership with the wider United Nations system, and follows 91ÑÇÉ« hosting the first Canadian UNITAR CIFAL Centre in 2021, and was named academic lead of the UNITAR Global Water Academy in 2023.     Â
