The UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability at 91ÑÇÉ«Â participated in the international workshop Higher Education at the Heart of the 2030 Agenda, held on 21–22 April 2026 in Sidi Dhrif, Tunisia. Hosted by International Association of Universities (IAU) in collaboration with Tunesian higher education institutions, namely University of Carthage, the University of Sousse, and the University of La Manouba, the workshop reached higher education representatives from 20 countries. Bringing together higher education leaders, researchers, and policy actors, the conversation explored the role of higher education in advancing the SDGs and strengthening institutional engagement with sustainable development. The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration, policy coherence, and whole-institution approaches as universities shape pathways for sustainable futures beyond 2030.
