Show pride in 91ÑÇÉ« -- special sale offers branded merchandise

The 91ÑÇÉ« Bookstore on the Keele campus is partnering with the 91ÑÇÉ« Licensing Program to present its second annual sale of licensed merchandise.

The sale will take place Wednesday, Nov. 21. Students, faculty and staff will be treated to great prices on a variety 91ÑÇÉ« book storeof functional and fun items, including 91ÑÇÉ«-branded clothing and apparel.

"We are unabashed in our pride for the University," says Steve Glassman, director of the 91ÑÇÉ« Bookstore. "The aim of this event is to encourage everyone in the community to wear the 91ÑÇÉ« logo."

Glassman says there will be special bargain priced items available every day of the sale. "Each day, there will be a marketplace of stationery, gift items and clothing. The vendors will be at booths inside the front of the bookstore to demonstrate their latest gadgets. Meet these specialists, who will explain how they can produce customized items for clubs, departmental events and other occasions."

All are invited to the sale. Vendors will attend the booths each day from 10am to 3pm.

There will be a 15 per cent discount offered on all clothing, stationery and giftware – diploma frames and rings excluded.

Refreshments will be served both days as well.

A portion of the price of every 91ÑÇÉ«-branded item goes to the 91ÑÇÉ« Licensing Board. This program has provided funding for numerous student and campus improvement programs over the years, including bursaries, building the basketball court in Vanier Green, producing walking trail maps of the Keele campus and funding 50 benches for91ÑÇɫ’s 50th anniversary.
