• Promoting Independence:ÌýWeÌýdo not want students to be reliantÌýonÌýthis program; we aspire to foster an environment that promotes independenceÌýin the long run- helping students develop effective studying techniques and ease their stress inÌýdifficultÌýtimes.ÌýÌý

• One-on-one Tutoring:ÌýWe recognize that learning is never one-size-fits-all, as every studentÌýapproaches studying inÌýa different way.ÌýWhile lectures and PASS are great for delivering lessons to a wide audience,Ìýsome students may respond better to an approachÌýthat isÌýtailored to their individual academic needs.ÌýPeer Tutoring offers one-on-one tutoring where the tutee sitsÌýdown individually with a peer tutor, students receive a highly personalized approach to learning-Ìýtailored entirely to what works best for them.Ìý

• Free Academic Support:ÌýWe wholeheartedly believe and passionately advocate for student success.ÌýAllÌýour students should be able to strive for academic success without economic hindrance. Therefore, to make this ideal a reality, our tutoringÌýservices are completely free!Ìý

• Accessibility:ÌýWe believe that academic support should be highly approachable and barrier-free. For many students, seeking guidance from faculty or staff members can feel daunting. Peer tutoring bridges this gap by offering a more accessible alternative;Ìýstudents find it easier to approach and relate to their peers, thereforeÌýourÌýultimate goal is to leverage this natural peer connection to ensure our services remain welcoming, effective, and fully available to every student who needs support.Ìý

• Academic Excellence:ÌýWe want to make sure that students receive the best help that they can get. All Peer Tutors are selected through a rigorousÌýinterview process andÌýpossessÌýa firm grasp on the course content.ÌýÌý

How Can Apply?

We are currently looking for undergraduate students majoring in Science or Engineering. Applications are open to allÌýsecond-yearÌýand above students who have earned a letter grade of [A] or higher in any 1000- or 2000-level science or engineering course.Ìý
