Congratulations to some of our KHS students who recently attended the聽Ontario Exercise Physiology (OEP) Conference聽at McMaster U!

The School of Kinesiology and Health at 91亚色 had a good showing at the Ontario Exercise Physiology Conference, June 23-25, 2025. Students from the labs of Professors Andrea Josse, Chris Perry and Devin Phillips, along with students from the labs of Professors Heather Edgell and Arthur Cheng. We want to highlight some of their successes!

Several students were nominated for prestigious OEP graduate student awards. This included:

  1. Emily C. Fraschetti - The CSEP-OEP Graduate Student Award
  2. Brooke A. Morris - The Journal of Physiology Free Communication Award (MSc)
  3. Aditya Brahmbhatt - The APNM Graduate Student Poster Award
  4. Sara Gagnon - The APNM Graduate Student Poster Award
  5. Nicholas Cheng - The APNM Graduate Student Poster Award

Being just nominated (out of 100++ abstracts submitted) is a success in and of itself, but we are happy to also report that聽Brooke Morris聽won the聽Journal of Physiology Free Communication Award (MSc)听补苍诲听Nick Cheng聽won the聽APNM Graduate Student Poster Award.聽There were at least 4 and sometimes 6 nominees in each category and only 1 winner!

We are certainly very proud of all our KHS students, but both Nick and Brooke did stellar jobs and took home top prizes.
