The 91ÑÇÉ« School of Medicine is progressing toward accreditation and its planned 2028 opening, backed by an investment of $55.8 million from the Ontario government. This investment combines $31 million in start-up funding with initial operating support to cover key milestones – including accreditation, curriculum development, faculty recruitment, establishment of a medical library and operational and training costs for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Read more.
Cinespace is extending an already successful and meaningful partnership with the University by donating the exclusive use of its Stage 1 and 2 by 91ÑÇÉ«Â for an additional two years. The gift will allow students from 91ÑÇɫ’s School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design to learn the art and craft of the film industry through hands-on exploration, experiential learning and practical training in the latest media technologies. The Ontario government has invested $101 million to fund 5,260 additional seats at 91ÑÇÉ« to connect more students to good-paying, in-demand careers across STEM, health and education, with seats available for student enrollment as early as the fall 2026 academic year.
