YURA is pleased and excited to share details of the Reception and Luncheon on May 13, 2026 to celebrate our 40th��anniversary with the theme “Celebrating our Past and Present and Inspiring our Future”. ��Our planning team and volunteers are in the process of creating poster boards to evoke the events, people and happenings of YURA’s four decades from 1986 to 2026.

We invite you warmly to come and reminisce with us, to reconnect with one another in fun and friendship, to remember and honour those who have contributed to our association, and to celebrate the notable contributions of retirees to the university community, including mentoring, ongoing scholarship and research, and support of students through our endowed awards and fund-raising accomplishments.

Wednesday May 13, 2026, starting at 11:00 with a reception and time for mingling, followed by a buffet luncheon from noon to approximately 2:00 p.m.�� After the luncheon, there will be additional time for conversation and socializing, with the event concluding at 2:45 p.m.

Conference Centre, 2nd Floor of the Second Student Centre,��, ��on the Keele Campus (south of the Ross Bldg and northwest of the Atkinson Bldg).
A confirmation will be sent to all those who register, with further details about public transit, parking, drop-off location, etc. Note: the venue is equipped with elevators, and every effort will be made to address mobility concerns.
