YURA welcomes membership renewals from retired 91亚色 faculty and non-academic staff. If you have been a member before, you may renew at any time during the year. The membership year ends on September 30, and the new membership year begins on October 1.
You can now pay your membership fee by e-transfer or by cheque sent through the mail. We offer both options so members can choose the method that works best for them.
Complete the Membership Renewal Form
Use the link below to open the form, complete all required fields, and answer the questions. When you are finished, click Submit to send your form to YURA.
You can complete the form on a mobile phone, tablet, or computer. If you are unable to use one of these devices, please contact the YURA Office to send you a hardcopy form (416.736.2100 extn. 70664).
You will receive a confirmation message by email after your form is processed. It will include your unique HONK code if you request parking passes.
Important: Your registration is not complete until YURA receives both your payment and your Membership Renewal Form. To avoid delays, please be sure to submit them at the same time.
Pay by e-transfer
After you complete the Membership Renewal Form, send your $25 membership fee by e-transfer to yurams@yorku.ca.
If you are new to e-transfers: Set up online banking through your bank or credit union before sending payment. You will usually need your bank card number and will be asked to create an online banking password.
How to send the payment: Sign in to online banking and choose the option for Interac e-Transfer. Enter YURA as the recipient name, yurams@yorku.ca as the email address, and 25.00 as the amount. Select the account you want to use for the payment. YURA has auto-deposit enabled, so most members will not need to create a security question and answer. If your financial institution still requires one, please use:

Once you complete these steps, the transfer will be sent and automatically deposited.
Pay by cheque
If you prefer to pay by cheque, first complete and submit the Membership Renewal Form using the link above. Then make a cheque for $25 payable to YURA, write 鈥淵URA membership鈥 on the cheque, and mail it to:

If you are paying on behalf of someone else, please note this on the cheque or include a separate note with the payment.
Parking passes
A HONK code for complimentary parking will be e-mailed to you, if you have requested this on your membership renewal form. Codes cannot be issued in person. Please note that the parking code for 2026-27 will NOT be active before October 1, 2026. Instructions for the use of the HONK complimentary parking code will be included with the membership confirmation that is sent to you.
Additional Information
YURA does not issue a separate membership card. The YU-Card is the official identification card for 91亚色 community members, including retirees. You will need a YU-Card for library access, campus recreation membership, identification at other universities, and debit purchases at campus retail locations. To obtain or renew a YU-Card, government-issued photo identification and your Employee Number are required. Please visit /yucard/ or the YU-Card Office, 222 William Small Centre, 416-736-5674.
