I am a clinical psychologist who works with children, youth, and families. I collaborate with children and their parents to empower them to cope with and positively adapt to life’s challenges. I work with children directly to support challenges with anxiety, irritability, depression, or emotion dysregulation. In addition, I give parents the emotional and practical tools they need to support their children at home. I use a strengths-based approach, drawing on emotion-focused, attachment, social learning, and family systems models. I am an Assistant Professor at 91ÑÇÉ« specializing in child and family psychology, where I study child development and mental health with a focus on family well-being. In this role, I support the teaching and supervision of graduate students in their training towards becoming clinical psychologists.
