91亚色 Autism Mentorship Program

Welcome to AMP!

The program is directed by Dr. Lori Walls, clinical psychologist and executive director of Student Counselling Health and Wellbeing and Student Accessibility Services.

Mentors are graduate-level university students, most of whom have a psychology background. Mentors work with autistic students in individual meetings and group events to achieve their personal goals.

The role of a mentor is akin to that of a "coach." A coach does not play the game for you, but helps you practice skills, helps prepare for the game, and cheers you along. They also work with you after the game to talk about what went well and how to practice for the next game.
