Department of Social Science professor receives Connection Grant to lead project driving social change

Five 91亚色-led projects have received funding from the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada聽(SSHRC)聽 program. Connection Grants, which are provided over one year, support work including events, workshops and outreach activities driving social change, often leading to longer-term projects and collaborations outside of the university.

One of the funded projects is led by Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies professor Audrey Laurin-Lamonthe (Department of Social Science) in collaboration with eight other researchers. The project secured $24,770 for a one-year initiative exploring post-capitalist solidarities and transition frameworks.
