Thank you to everyone who signed up to participate. We are currently working on analyzing the data. Keep an eye on this space for results from the survey.
The Quantitative Research Team will launch a national-level survey to collect data directly from 2SGBTQ+ people across Canada in 2024-25.
As we aim to depict the landscape of poverty among 2SLGBTQ+ people in Canada in relation to the general population, we have examined Statistics Canada鈥檚 Dimensions of Poverty Hub (Statistics Canada 2021), and its main data sources.
Almost all the data used in this Hub do not allow for the identification of 2SLGBTQ+ people. In our survey, we will adopt identical questions from these sources so that, combined with the extant data, we can make reliable comparisons between 2SLGBTQ+ people and the general population.
