
Dr. Marudan Sivagurunathan is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the 2SLGBTQ+ Poverty in Canada project. He holds a PhD in Measurement and Methods from Western University, where his doctoral research focused on intimate partner violence from clinical and social perspectives. His broader research program examines gender-based violence, health equity, and the wellbeing of marginalized populations, with particular attention to 2SLGBTQ+ and racialized communities. Dr. Sivagurunathan has led and contributed to studies on gender-affirming care, gambling harm prevention, and child and adolescent health. He brings expertise in mixed methods research, community engagement, and knowledge mobilization.
