The Global Labour Research Centre (GLRC) is seeking PhD students and postdoctoral fellows interested in joining a supportive research community focused on labour and livelihoods, broadly understood. More than a presentation series, this initiative is an opportunity to build an interdisciplinary community of scholars committed to supporting one another's research through thoughtful discussion, constructive feedback, and ongoing engagement.
The group will meet in person for two hours during the first week of each month, from October to March. Throughout the program, participants will present and discuss works in progress, including dissertation chapters, dissertation proposals, conference papers, journal articles, or other research outputs. The goal is to foster a collaborative space where members can strengthen their work while contributing to the development of others.
We are looking for participants who are willing to commit to the collective for the duration of the program. A small honorarium will be provided in recognition of participants' time and engagement.
