Personal Presentation

Personal presentation through dress:

Cultural or Religious Clothing - Ontario laws protect you from discrimination based on your cultural or religious beliefs. If you prefer to wear specific clothing, such as a hijab, turban, kippah, or other items reflecting your cultural or religious practices during an interview, you have the right to do so.

Gender Identity and Gender Expression - Ontario鈥檚 laws also protect your right to dress according to your gender identity and expression. Dress codes must respect and accommodate the choices individuals make regarding their gender presentation.

Disability Accommodations - Employers are required to accommodate individuals with disabilities, including adjustments to attire, where necessary, under Ontario鈥檚 Human Rights Code.
