With a focus on those students who wish to become teachers or work in education in general, the major prepares you for the realities and exigencies of today’s classroom setting. Focused on developing core mathematics skills and approaches to education, you will build on pure theory courses with electives in fields far removed from mathematics aimed at broadening your horizons as a teacher and a mathematician.
